Eligibility:

  • Eligibility for admission for weekend courses.
  • Life science graduates and post graduates (Pharmacy, Microbiology, Zoology, Biotechnology, Nursing, Industrial Microbiology, Genetics… etc)
  • Doctors ( MBBS,BAMS,BHMS,BUMS, BDS, Physiotherapy)
  • The above degrees from recognized Indian universities or equivalent foreign universities.
  • Distance learning degrees are not considered.
  • **Rights of admission are reserved
  • **JCL is not affiliated to any university. Courses offered by JCL are autonomous & not approved by AICTE

Admission Process:

  • Every year two weekend batches are conducted for each course – In the month of January and July.
  • Admissions for January batch open from the first Sunday of November
  • Admissions for July batch open from the first Sunday of May
  • Admission Form fee Rs.500/-
  • Documents required for admission process.
  • Attested copy of highest degree certificate.
  • If the degree certificate is yet to be received, photo copy of passing certificate and final year mark sheet may be submitted
  • 2 passport size colored photographs

How we Operate:

  • Students seeking admission for the weekend courses at JCL, would need to submit their filled form alongwith required documents. Thereafter, the interested candidates will have to appear for the personal interview
  • Course Methodology
  • Classes are conducted on weekends. (Saturday or Sunday)
  • Attendance has to be regular.
  • Students will receive notes on syllabus mentioned as per schedule (every week)
  • Special guest lectures and seminars will be conducted by experienced executives working in the field of Clinical Trials.
  • After completing every topic, feedback form will be provided. Students are expected to express their concerns, comments etc, without any hesitation.
  • Written examination and personal interview (Oral examination) will be conducted at the end of core course as well as advanced course.
  • After core course results meritorious students will be offered an internship for the period of three months. Generally, atleast 5 students are offered an internship. Number of interns may exceed 5 depending on the availability of positions.
  • Through practice-based curricula, well-rounded theoretical fundamentals and practical-oriented projects, our students will gain vital communication skills, teamwork and hands on experience. The students will also benefit from our rapidly growing relation with local industries.
  • JCL has a placement cell in place, which will support its students in settling in a good career.

Teaching Style:

  • Our faculty make it a point to cite a lot of examples derived from practical problems faced by them on a day-to-day basis drawn from our years of experience in the field. Moreover, the teaching style is interactive which encourages participation of students. This enables students to get a better understanding of how to overcome these issues so that they are better prepared when dealing with real world issues when on the job.
  • There are many student centred class activities and workshops organized in the duration of the course which gives students a more thorough understanding of the subject as opposed to a purely lecture based teaching method.
